Trochochaetidae
Natural History
Trochochaetids are found on soft sediments throughout the world. They are probably surface deposit feeders but there are no studies of the biology of the family.
Diversity
Globally the Trochochaetidae comprises a single genus, Trochochaeta, and 9 species; none are yet recorded from Australia, although an unidentified trochochaetid is known from New Zealand.
