Description Small worms up to 10 mm long, parapodia biramous, chaetae generally capillaries but sometimes bent in sigmoid fashion, most with pigmented glands mainly red and green sometimes yellow or colourless. Type species Aeolosoma neiswestnova Lastochkin, 1935
Description Small, almost transparent, 1 mm in length, chaetae lacking, serially arranged pairs of papillae, posterior end produced into 2 short attachment lobes, epidermis richly glandular, with or without pigment cells, glandular secretions glandular, colourless, greenish to orange.
